What a delicious, lovely jewel of the Yucatan peninsula. El Bistro is located is the beautiful, gated community of Playacar. They offer quality, gourmet meals on a nice, open air patio, for a great price. The staff is very kind, friendly and speak English very well. We enjoyed the tasty meals and our experience so much that we visited several times on our 6 day vacation.

We stop in El Bistro often. It's either for cocktails which are really good or for lunch or dinner. They often have a crowd at breakfast but we've never tried it. The staff is friendly and the food is always fresh.

I must say the service is excellent. My margarita was too sweet, the ceviche was loaded with lime and my molcajete was just shrimp period. I had expected more to my main course.
